Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s workforce is critical to the
wellbeing of our community and the growth of our state, not to mention the
success of our business. Roche Carolina is committed to improving education
in our school systems and has supported numerous initiatives and programs
designed to promote and enhance learning. One example is our High
Performance Partnership with Theodore Lester Elementary School, through
which our employees tutor and mentor local 4th grade students on problems
that are a combination of reading comprehension, math and logical thinking.

As a leader in the field of Oncology, Roche Carolina has formed a
relationship with one of the state’s leading cancer research institutes, the
Medical University of South Carolina Hollings Cancer Center. In 2005, Roche
announced a $100,000 contribution to the Hollings Cancer Center of
Excellence in Gastrointestinal Malignancy. |
