As part of an innovation-driven,
global healthcare company, Roche Carolina is committed to developing and
manufacturing life-saving medicines for patients around the globe. We also
recognize the importance of being a good neighbor in our own community. To
that end, we have provided financial and in-kind resources to charitable
organizations that improve quality of life and make a positive impact to our
communities. Roche Carolina’s focus areas of commitment are
Education and Healthcare.
Roche Carolina also encourages and supports the involvement of its
employees in their communities. Through organizations like the United Way,
the American Cancer Society, Rebuilding Together and the American Heart
Association, our employees are involved to help improve the communities in
which they live and work.

To further encourage employees’ volunteering
with non-profit community agencies, Roche has established the L.D. Barney
Roche Volunteer Program. Through this program, Roche will contribute funds
to qualified, non-profit agencies based on the employee’s level of
involvement.
Roche Carolina’s commitment to the community, quality and
manufacturing excellence has received statewide recognition. In 2001, we received recognition by the State Chamber of Commerce as the
Manufacturer of the Year, and we received the
Silver Crescent Award
for Manufacturing Excellence in 2005.
Matching Gifts
Roche Carolina matches dollar for dollar employees’ gifts of $25 or more to
eligible hospitals, institutions of higher education and private secondary
schools up to a maximum of $5,000 during a calendar year. |
